Linda Ruth Cowen, 77 of Carmel, NY, beloved wife, mother, grandmother & great-grand mother, passed away on August 13,2021 in Danbury, Ct.
Linda was born in Mt. Vernon, NY to Muriel & Robert Gareiss on February 29,1944. She married Thomas Arthur Cowen on September 28,1962 in Mt. Vernon, NY. Linda enjoyed cooking, reading, & playing cards. She was a talented self-taught artist, & each one of her loved ones' are blessed to have a piece of her artwork. She loved spending time with her family & left them all with lasting memories.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Muriel & Robert Gareiss.
She is survived by her husband, Tom, her children Robert Cowen & his wife Carol, Dawn Strahley & her husband John, Tricia Archiere & her husband Patrick, her grandchildren Deanna Petrillo, Devon Costello, Karly Strahley, Dylan Cumpston, Colleen Tessier, Erin Strahley, & great-grand child Colton Cumpston.
