Obituary for Toby "Theopisti" Tsolomytis

Toby "Theopisti " Tsolomytis nee Pappas was a resident of Bronx, New York. She is survived by her devoted daughter Evie Tsolomytis-Kalousis ,her son-in-law Constantine and her grandson James Peter . She is also survived by her loving sister Lilly and her goddaughter Anna Frazis as well as by many nieces and nephews and other cousins in Greece. Toby was pre-deceased by her husband Demetrios and her parents Simeon and Evgenia and her godson George Costidis . Toby was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, sister, godmother ,aunt by marriage and friend. She always put the needs of others before herself. She loved her family very much and was a best friend, confidante and excellent listener to all who knew her. Toby loved her home and the quietness and peacefulness of her living room watching westerns and classical movies. Toby excelled in mathematical skills in banking and book-keeping before settling down to become a wife and mother to her family. She loved the images of the seashore and wanted to be an artist. But even though she was not an artist by trade she appreciated art for its worth and beauty. Toby loved Greek music and dancing the tango with the love of her life. Toby was an animal lover and supporter of ASPCA because she had owned two dogs and a cat. She was a supporter of her church Zoodohos Peghe ,the Ladies Philoptochos, St. Jude's Children's Hospital and March of Dimes . She will be missed by many for her grace and love of God and His teachings. May her memory be forever eternal
