Obituary for William Michael "Billy" Sinclair
William Sinclair died on December 7, 2019 at the age of 76.
Bill was born in Portchester, N.Y. to the late William and Sarah (Flax) Sinclair.
He married Elaine (Grescak) on September 11, 1966 at St. Gregory the Great Church in Harrison, N.Y. Bill and Elaine were married for 53 years.
He is survived by his daughters Lauri Sinclair (Pat), Victoria Tschantre (Marc), and Jennifer Sinclair-Butler. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Brianne, Jake, Jocelyn, Aidan, Jaylee, and Ella, sisters in law Nancy King, Mary Kay Grescak (John), and brother in law Andrew Grescak, as well as nieces Kasey and Korey.
Bill was a proud veteran of the United States Army and a retired officer with the Westchester County Department of Corrections for 32 years. He was also an active member of the Harrison Fire Department, proudly serving for 53 years.
Bill was a lifelong Harrison resident and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
