Condolence From: Mitch and Patrisse Spelios
Condolence: Dear Uncle Nick. There is a saying “people come into your life for a reason, a season, or for a lifetime. You came into my life as a season nearly fifty years ago when I first met and subsequently married your beautiful niece Patrisse. For her, you were already in her life for a lifetime of love, guidance and support and always with your positive and uplifting personality. Patrisse always related stories to me of experiences she shared with you, Aunt Dena, Christos, Peter James, Nick and John, and felt more like a daughter to you to compliment your four sons! As for me, that initial season with you became a lifetime of love, laughter and a wonderful relationship. As for the “reason” you came into my life, it became obvious after you relocated to Florida, and after awhile, we also retired to Florida not far from you. It was then that we grew closer as a family. We enjoyed spending each holiday with you, and times in between, for the nearly four seasons we lived near you. I finally realized the “reason” fate drew us together in Florida. It was to give you family nearby, but, for me something more personal. You see, both of my parents were only children, and I never had an opportunity to have a Aunt or Uncle to relate to. You gave me this wonderful experience to form a loving bond with my “Uncle Nick”, to laugh, to sing, and to share experiences and stories from times gone by. For this I shall be forever grateful that I experienced the love of an Uncle in my life! Your absence will be sadly felt by our family, Lou and Parisse, and by your beautiful and loving Niece Patrisse, and myself who will always be honored to have had you as my favorite “Uncle Nick”. May your Memory be Eternal.

Condolence: To My Dear Uncle Nick, Your Loved ones described you as the “Life of the Party” and I know this to be true as I lived it during our trip to Las Vegas to celebrate your 90th birthday. No matter where we went, high limit rooms, rolling the dice, top shows, side shows, young clubs, class clubs you knew how to make it fun and have a Good time. I never thought of you as my 90 year old Uncle, you were always the “Life of the Party”. I will miss the warmth and caring you brought with you, where ever you went. Seven or Eleven. I will Miss you. Your very Sad Nephew, Alex
