Condolence: Without a doubt, one of the most remarkable persons that I ever met in my 66 years. Kind, caring, respectful, professional, friendly, and so many more attributes that I cannot put into words. Eric, without a doubt helped me to become a better person and I thanked him for that. Condolence: I was saddened to hear of Eric’s passing this past week. I remember conversations with him when I was working inside at HDQ. He’d laugh at my telling him how I knew it could only be him walking down the hallway —that distinctive rustling sound of attached gun belt accessories. A true gentleman always RIP

Condolence: it was my honor and privilege to have worked with LT H for many years. He was a man who never put himself before his troops.. fair, honest and committed to the City of New Rochelle and it's citizens. My thoughts and prayers, along with those of my husband Gary, also NRPD, are with you during this sad time. RIP Eric, you most certainly have earned it.

Condolence: Mr. Halbekath was a man in the truest sense - classically tough, hard-working and funny, with a quick wit and a concern for all of those he cared for. They don't make people like him anymore, and we would benefit from his insight on life. I'm proud to have known him and his terrific family my whole life - he will be missed but never forgotten.
