Obituary for Walter Watson Jr.
Walter Watson, Jr. of Holmes, NY passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, February 13, 2018 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years, Maureen, and his loving daughters, Kerri and Tara. He also leaves behind his father, Walter Watson, Sr., sisters, Kathy (Curtis), MaryEllen (JR), Tricia (Rob), and brothers, Michael (Susan) and Chris. Many nieces and nephews mourn his loss as well. Walter was a proud member of Local 30 Operating Engineers as well as Amalgamated Housing and dedicated over 45 years of his life working hard for a living. Walter was an easy man to love as was evidenced by his huge circle of friends, old and new. Moving upstate was a dream come true for Walter and he enjoyed his days with his dogs, Maggie and Lady. Walter was a man who enjoyed the simple things in life and his family meant everything to him. His smile, his laugh and his stories will be forever missed. His presence will be missed even more!
