Obituary for Antoinette Rovetto

Antoinette Rovetto was a Renaissance woman. An entrepreneur, businesswoman, writer, poet, published author and accomplished painter, Theologian, Philosopher, visionary and Sage. Born in Brooklyn, NY on June 7, 1932 — she was one of 7 children of Italian immigrant Madalena Picardi and American-Italian Anthony Pannone. She lived her life with passion and creative fire —she was a force of nature, a force to be reckoned with. Always striving for the next achievement and the next creative endeavor. She loved music and had wanted to be a dancer but her strict Italian parents forbade it. So she danced up a storm at family weddings and parties. Deeply spiritual, she believed in the higher purpose. But most importantly she lived her live with deep and unrelenting love for her family. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Antoinette is survived by her beloved husband Joseph, her daughters Amelia Malanaphy and Anne Vogel, her son-in-law Patrick Malanaphy, her grandchildren — Marianne Malanaphy-Medway, Lauren Malanaphy-Rouse and husband Bishop Rouse and their beloved children Julius and Joseph Rouse. Patrick Malanaphy Jr. and wife Michelle Carberry-Malanaphy and their and beloved children Laina and Cora Malanaphy and beloved granddaughters Cassandra Covaleski and Tess Vogel. Her beloved brothers, James Pannone and Anthony Pannone and her beloved sisters Amelia Schiavone and Jean Basile, as well as her last surviving Aunt — Grace, and her many nieces and nephews and their spouses and children whom she all adored.

And lastly, her beloved son Lawrence Rovetto, who preceded her in passing has met her in God’s Kingdom.
