Mrs. Rose Mustacato entered eternal rest on Thursday April 6, 2017. She was 86 years old.
Rose was born December 8, 1930 to Pantileo and Isabella Bufi in Molfetta, Bari, Italy. As a child she moved with her family to Harrison, N.Y., where she was raised and educated. Rose worked for many years as a book keeper for AMSCAN. After retiring, she became an active member of the Harrison Seniors.
Rose is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Henry. She also leaves behind 3 loving children Kathy Wigtil (Brad), Mark (Nancy), and Henry (Susan), 7 grandchildren Erin, Matt, Catie, Jack, Timothy, Ryan, and Dominick, 4 great grandchildren Quintin, Owen, Jayden, and Harrison, 2 siblings Annette Vuotto and Morris Bufi, as well as many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Rose had been predeceased by 1 sister Mary Bufi.
The Mustacato family will be receiving friends on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home. The Funeral will take place on Tuesday. Mass of the Christian Burial 10 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church. Entombment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Rye Brook, N.Y.
