Hopkins, Astrid – of Cortlandt Manor, NY. Passed away peacefully at her home on March 4th, 2016. She was born March 6, 1927 in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, to the late Charles Olsen and Augusta Johnsen Olsen.
She married Richard Gilpin Hopkins April 4, 1953 in Carmel, NY. A resident of Cortlandt Manor for 56yrs, she is survived by her devoted husband Richard, and loving daughter Susan, as well as two nieces, Martha and Nancy, and one nephew Reed, all of Virginia; and several cousins in Norway and Sweden.
Arrangements will be handled by Balsamo - Cordovano Funeral Home,15 Church Street - Carmel, NY. Visitation will be held from 11-12am on Friday March 11.Graveside service to follow at 12:30 pm at Raymond Hill Cemetery.
