Thomas Baxter, lifelong resident of Throggs Neck Bronx NY entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 10, 2015. At 74 years old he was the son of Thomas and Josephine Baxter. He was the beloved husband of Cora (Valentino) Baxter for the past 21 years and his first wife who predeceased him, JoAnn (Taglialatella) Baxter.

Thomas leaves behind his daughters Josephine and Lillian, step children Deana, John, and Barry, son in-law John, daughter in-law Mary Ann, grandchildren Jonathan, Justin, James, Olivia, and John. He is also survived by siblings Carl, Rosemary, Josephine, Laurie, James and their respective spouses, Kathleen, Eugene (predeceased), Jerry (predeceased), Salvatore, Richard, Donna, brother in law Richie and 17 beloved nieces and nephews. Tom served honorably in the US Navy.

Thomas’ family will be receiving friends and family on Tuesday, September 15th between 5-9pm at Balsamo Funeral Home (3188 Westchester Avenue, Bronx NY). In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association. Christian Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 15th 11:00am at St. Frances de Chantal 190 Hollywood Avenue, Bronx NY
